I don't expect that all the clients will be done at the same time, may I suggest that we
merge to truck once Java, C++ and Python are done.

Taking a branch would allow everything to be coordinated on the
branch and simultaneously merged when ready.

I agree that doing this work on a branch would make more sense,
particularly since we need to get the range of clients upgraded.
