Must confess that I'm not in favour of docs in svn and then porting to the wiki as I think it introduces unecessary overhead.
I think there's been previous debate on the Apache lists about the fact that users do not read docs provided in dists but refer to project websites. Thus I'm not keen on the svn doc/port to wiki model. Would far rather write docs for users on the wiki. The vast bulk of our users docs are already on the wiki btw.
