Keep in mind I haven't actually tested the M2 branch directly. However

The rest of my computers arriving at my new place tomorrow having seemingly
been on a tour of Europe (or at least Northern Germany) so I should be in a
better position to do some heavy duty testing...
Please post to the JIRA if you run into any issues/questions reproducing
the problem. I'll check my email periodically this weekend.
