In my opinion, there are 2 solutions:
1. http://www.riverstyx.net/qpopmysql/
This patch doesn't work for me with 3.1.2 , but if you are
a programmer, then is this the beginning of the simple
solution.
2. http://www.netd.co.za/mysql-mail/
This solution compiled fine for me with 3.1.2 , but it is
originally designed for use with exim.
