After upgrading to qpopper 3.1.2 on a Solaris 2.7, I added the following
switches onto /etc/inetd.conf

pop3 stream tcp nowait.400 root /usr/local/lib/popper qpopper -sR

The -R option indicates to exludes DNS reserve name lookup and I have no
problem receiving incoming mail. It responded almost instantly but it
takes about 20-30secs when trying to sent out mail to my sendmail server
which resides on the same network. I am using Netscape messanger for my
mail client and I have setup a mail-hub environment. Could anyone help
as to why does this problem exists.

Regards.

Could anyone out there enlightened me if I have missed out any of the
configuration.
