Qpopper uses Version 7 mailboxes, cyrus does not.
No, it will not work.

UW-IMAP is a (low performance) IMAP server that will serve
Version 7 mailboxes.

Cyrus DOES come with a POP server, as does EVERY IMAP system.

Suggestions might include going to http://www.imap.org/
