I'm curious to know if I've got a bad configuration.

I have a Sun Cobalt RaQ4 server which came with qpopper 3.0.2 and imap
4.7c2. They where both enabled in /etc/inetd.conf

I had to upgrade qpopper to 4.0.4 because of the performance problems in
3.0.2.

We do use both IMAP and POP3 for any and every mailbox.

What are the possible issues that may arise because of this? Am I at a major
risk in proceeding this way? Could I loose mail?

Any advise is most welcome.

Thanks

Regards

Rishi
