There are _hacks_ to do this, but if the original poster wants it, he's better off moving to a pop3/imap server which can handle it semi-natively.
Fair enough. All I wanted to do was stop the OP from searching usenet for days. That's what I did before I was convinced that qpopper really wasn't a good pop daemon for virtual domains. None of the other posts spoke directly to his original question.
