Certainly got a little discussion going.

All valid points, but more and more virtual domains are out there. Sooner or later it will be the norm rather than the exception.

Will have to go with this for the time being.

better to be domain1-info, IMHO, but I suspect the OP doesn't want to do
it that way for whatever reason.
