Thanks to all the hard-workers fighting against the spam problem.

I just had to delete the .dbm database because it seemed to be stuck. I did
not see it growing over about a two hour time frame, even though everything
else in the logs looked normal except for the following.

There was one (that I know of) ip address that just kept getting an "initial
DENYSOFT", while I could see that others were being moved grey->white during
the same timeframe.
This recreation of the database solved the problem for this ip address, but
I am wondering how many other ones might be missed.

I had the blacklist time set down to 10 minutes, and the other two were at
default.

The plugin was downloaded and installed early last week, and was installed
onto a fairly busy mail server late last week. It seemed to be doing a
great job, until I found this problem.

It also seems that there are a few legitimate mail servers out there that do
not queue and retry on the DENYSOFT. A couple of instances of customers
having immediate denials returned to them, and the only retry is a manual
one that they attempted, usually too quick for the black_timeout.

Thanks in advance for any help or discussion on this.

Sam
