I thought that search engines don't matter as they learn soon enough
that a page doesn't exist anymore. But of course with a wiki this is
different: Every possible URL "exists" from a web-client's POV: It just
contains the text "This topic does not exist yet ...". The pages will
probably get a pretty low ranking on the search engines soon, though, as
they have no links pointing to them and they all have the same text, so
this probably isn't as bad as it sounds. A "normal" search (i.e. for
meaningful keywords) won't turn up one of the moved pages.
