Phil, Thanks to point out, I'll try to find the scite version that used Scintilla v3.10.1 to check if that version was buggy or if this something specific to QScintilla.
In the meantime, I've created a couple of mcves for you: - Test0 <https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/zrvpkok7wgv13b1/2019-05-11_18-10-54.txt>: Press ctrl before starting to create multi selections and you'll see the main selection will look gray instead blue, that's a bug. - Test1 <https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/pehpz34h2i6egkr/2019-05-11_18-12-30.txt>: Just run this one and the bug should show up automatically That's the 2 ways I've found to reproduce this annoying bug so far.
