Components use mlocale from libmeegotouch. Mthemedaemon is needed to support shard across apps theme assets, if you don't use it it will work as well. People are even running them on Android. uhm, master branch? to me is still linking to it (and uses mthemedaemon too) or is it a build time optional dependency?
