Testing Jambi on Ubuntu. Qt Jambi 4.4 (qtjambi-linux32-preview-4.4.0_01) crashes the JVM on Ubuntu 8.04
The next release of Qt Jambi won't be until late Q2 of 2008 and until then it appears there is no way to have Qt Jambi 4.4 working on the latest version of Ubuntu. Is there a way to enable Qt Jambi 4.4 to work on Ubuntu 8.04 today? Reverting to 4.3 also did not run on 8.04 but works for Ubuntu 7.10 Will Ubuntu 8.04 be a supported platform in the final Qt Jambi 4.4 release? If you need more information or have any ideas for making Qt Jambi 4.4 function correctly on Ubuntu 8.04 that would be most useful. Just creating a blank window will cause the JVM to crash.
