Please disregard my last mail. I was mistaken, and it seems Sun has
changed their versioning scheme for Java 1.6. The version you are
running is indeed Sun's J2SE 1.6 update 6, which is the latest stable
version.

Running Qt Jambi applications against this version works fine in my
case, so I'm hoping you can give me more information that can help us
debug this.

First of all: Which application are you trying to run, how are you
running it (which command) and when in the process does it crash?

Could you try adding -Dcom.trolltech.qt.verbose-loading=true to your
command line to see if this provides any useful information?

Also, could you please send me the .log file produced by the virtual
machine as it crashes?

Are you by any chance running KDE 4? If you are, could you please try
setting your QT_PLUGIN_PATH environment variable to be empty prior to
running a Qt Jambi application? There seem to be some issues with this
due to KDE loading some of its own Qt plugins which in turn are dragging
in Qt libraries which are incompatible with Qt Jambi's build of Qt. We
are currently looking at resolving this issue.

Thank you!
