Hei,

I like most of the improvements you did in the new Designer. Esp. the grid
layout handling (cell frames and 'simplify' functionality) is very nice. I
also like that you can finally connect stuff to custom slots on the form
again. For this, it would be useful if QDialog was in the list of base
classes to promote widgets from. I guess it's an oversight that it's not
there, as QWizard, e.g., is.

Talking about QWizard, I find it /very/ disappointing that you still can't
create wizards in designer. I have reported this for 4.3 already. If there
is /one/ kind of dialog that you don't want to code in C++, it's a wizard.

The property editor's handling of flags is much nicer now, thanks. However,
please remove the annoyance that you have to click into the checkboxes twice
to add or remove a flag - one for focus, two for change.

The eye-candy (with colour in the property editor being the most visible) is
nice, if not very useful. I would have preferred the time being spent of
QWizard integration, whose omission is a major PITA for me atm. I'm posting
around .ui files for discussion with wizard pages emulated by a tabwidget, or
a QStackedWidget!

Thanks,
Marc
