Yes. Phonon 4.0 is part of KDE 4.0 Phonon 4.1 is part of Qt 4.4 Phonon 4.2 will be part of KDE 4.1 Phonon 4.3 will most likely be part of Qt 4.5 Phonon 4.4 wil probably be in KDE 4.2 and so forth > (since I use heavily Phonon, I need the latest version so I will > continue to patch Qt with the latest Phonon on my computer) Or you can just build it from kdelibs and make sure that it's found first by the linker and the dynamic linker.
