It looks like you have a compiler that actually doesn't support mmx -  
can you run "gcc -v" and send the output to me?

Also, can you check if configure detects mmx support or not? It should  
output a line like "MMX/3DNOW/SSE/SSE2..  yes/yes/yes/yes" or similar.
