QE = Quackle estimated equity loss
QS = Quackle simmed equity loss
MS = Maven simmed equity loss

I've done a comparison for one of my recent games.

I won't bore you with the moves, some of which were shockingly poor,
but here are the equity loss figures for the three systems. Note
that when I got down to the endgame I ignored the Quackle figures
completely and used the manually calculated figures from Maven's
suggestions.

          Equity loss
Move QE QS MS
1 0 0 0
2 3.2 0 0
3 16.5 20.5 19.1
4 3.3 1.7 0
5 55.1 43.3 43.3
6 34.1 24.2 21.6
7 0.4 0 0
8 0 2.0 3.8
9 0 0 0
10 9.0 14.5 7.6
11 9.0 15.4 16.0
12 4.4 2.8 4.8
Endgame (manual)
13 2.0 2.0 2.0
14 3.0 3.0 3.0

Total 140 129 121

The Quackle estimates are sometimes well out - up to 12 or 13 points
out. The two sims compare very well, with almost all moves being
within a couple of points. The odd move out is number 10, where the
two sims are 7 points apart.

The sims were both to 1000 iterations - 2-ply for Quackle, 1-ply for
Maven - which amounts to the same thing.
