I don't completely agree, but it's a question of priorities. The
greatest improvements will be made elsewhere.
The values were generated for TWL06 and they are not definitive.
Ideally we'd like values for the most important 3-6 tile leaves, so we
don't have to rely as much on the synergy tables. I have a good idea
of how to determine this "importance" through self-play. DENU and
EIMRT are important. If our value for ?VVW is off by a couple points
in either direction, we really don't care. Plays keeping bad or
improbable leaves will rarely be in the kibitzer's top 10, and when
they're best, they will often be best by a comfortable margin.
Importance = frequency of dispute.
In a few weeks or months when Quackle is faster and better and runs
reliably on pre-XP Windows, I'd like to include the leave value
calculation code in the release version so that users can volunteer
their computing power to help us. But by that time, we'll be looking
for TWL06 and Collins values. OSWi is a lame duck.

Some people might have read that as a CFFFKOU, Jason. :)
The syn2 values are relative, not absolute. EZ 0.46 doesn't mean that
EZ = +0.46, it means that EZ is 0.46 points better than its BaSiC
value.
