Yes, a race condition is exactly what I envisioned... Neil racing back and
forth between work and home, as Quackles on each machine stalled while
played each other remotely, and needed him to come kick them.

Quackle (don't ask why!) on the speedy player it doesn't always work. On
my work machine it usually does (about 95% success rate) but the odd time
it just waits with the initial rack. Pressing 'new game' then seems to
cause it to work.

Windows XP. I reloaded version 0.95 on my home PC but it made no
difference. Is there some configuration with QT which could causing
this? Anything I can check? My work PC has 512MB memory and home one 2GB
memory so I was expecting it to work better at home.

Hi, thanks! It seems that there's a race condition when playing Speedy
Player against itself that leads to erratic behavior with the user
interface. I'll see if I can replicate this and try to fix it.
