XWords is a "Crossword Game" for Palm which historically had a
weak engine but a perfectly serviceable GUI (IMO). It's now been open
sourced, and even if the superleave and other resource intensive
capabilities were dropped it would still be a huge leap forward
algorithmically over the original XWords.
I'm hoping someone will be motivated enough to take a shot integrating
Quackle with XWords, but I just don't have the programming mojo any more.
I would happily support anyone who wanted to set up the compilation
environment (not that that's all that hard).
Or we could just wait for the hardware to catch up. I fear PalmOS is on
the way out anyway.
