Thanx much fer yer replies. Despite Kevin's beautiful and excellent
analysis, I now feel that BLAWN is better than BRAWL because of the lack of
extensions (in my solitaire game I later added the Y to BRAWL), altho John's
comment on R's value was of some help. And in the future, where I have a
choice between a UN and a UR leave I'll consider very carefully, where
previously I would have nearly always picked UN.

There is some synergy there, so RU and NU are closer than R and N, but RU is
still ahead because of the goodness of the R.

which I start each day. To my surprise, for my first rack of ABLNRUW, Quackle
recommended BLAWN, putting my choice, BRAWL, third, after BRAWN. I had picked
BRAWL, because of the UN leave, which I consider highly synergetic. Am I
wrong? Perhaps someone ca compare tbe value of LU, NU and RU leaves.
