Hi, I'm glad to see that Quackle has been ported to so many languages. As a Spanish player, I would like to come back to the question pointed by the email below (and many others) regarding the adaption of Quackle to Spanish.
The good news are that the first Official Word List from FISE (International Federation of Spanish Scrabble) has finally been completed! so that right now we have the words but, unfortunately, not the knowledge to fully adapt Quackle. Jason, John or anyone out there, what about having Quackle playing in Spanish in short? Spanish players community is large and constantly growing. I'm sure it would be a great new for us having such an excellent tool at our disposal. Any taker? :) Enric Hernández P.D: in case that someone is able to provide some help, either myself or any colleague will send you the word list, of course. Thanks in advance!! ________________________________ De: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] En nombre de notulei Enviado el: jueves, 25 de septiembre de 2008 8:45 Para: [email protected] Asunto: [quackle] Adapting a lexicon Hi, I want to have quackle working in spanish. I noticed there is a raw spanish lexicon in the data/raw_lexica, but there is no spanish dawg or gaddag spanish files. I'd like to know if there is some documentation about how to generate the files needed so I can use quackle in spanish,or if anyone here can instruct me about what I need to do.
