Hmmm -- there are several qt4 libraries on each version, but nothing under
qt4 per se (laptop and desktop).  The specific modules installed under 9.10
but not in 10.04 are
libqt3-mt
libqt4-sql-mysql

Those under 10.04 but not 9.10:
libphonon4
phonon

(this with installed packages, "quick search" for qt. There were a few -
latex, apport and banking packages -  that are not listed.)

Unless quackle uses mysql, there's nothing there to deal with. Quackle
continues to run on the laptop but not on the desktop.
