Hi, Yes I submitted an essay last year and it was excepted and published (Audrey from the quad list, who recently passed away, is also in the book.) "From There to Here" is 45 personal journeys from trauma to meaning ~ stories of adjustment to spinal cord injury.  The only way to obtain a copy is through newmobility.com then go to the book store. It cost $18.95 plus S&H  "These stories  are so intense, but I emerged grateful for the bone-crushing honesty. A far cry from Hollywood's disability-of-the-week victim movie" ~ John Callahan, syndicated cartoonist, author, songwriter, quadriplegic. Bobbie, Did you publish an article in "From Here to There?" I was approached to write an essay, but I was rather busy last summer reading for my history seminar.  I really wish I would have been able to write a proper essay.  Just yesterday I lobbied the local library to purchase a copy of this book for the county.  I'm looking forward to reading the book in the future.
