Wow, thank you Joel!

That was nice to hear.....I appreciate the kind words very much.

Let me introduce myself.....My names Robert L. Hickey but friends call me Bob or Bobby... :-)

Im 33y/o from Marysville, Washington  which is @ 30 miles N. of Seattle. Im an incomplete C-4/5 Quad and drive an Arrow Storm power chair.

Our family opened an Archery Shop with indoor shooting lanes in 87', where I started shooting competitively. Within the next 2 years I had set several State and Sectional Records for Indoor and Outdoor events traveling and advertising for our shop. I even managed to take 2nd At Nationals and Worlds in 88' in the young adult class and my scores ranked 13th Overall in the Pro Freestyle Mens division.

Just after being approached by 2 of the Olympic Training Center Coaches who offered me a chance to go to Arizona State and train for the trials.....I dove into shallow water, hit my head on the bottom and Woke up a new man!!

That was at age 19......5 years of self discovery later and the trial and errors of jimmy riggin anything I could, to do what I loved best......Target Archery, hunting, camping, da boat, my fishin pole, my shotgun, rifle, sticks with hooks for grabbin stuff round the house, cooking ect.....I realized I could do lots of these kinds of activities again with just a bit of planning, tinkering and help from my wonderful support system of family and friends.

The next 5 years I spent with my ex-wife in the hills of N.E. Washington....she went crazy from the long winters and didn't have faith in my plans with DVR to become an Instructor. While I, on the other hand, have had to just keep positive and believe my dreams were goin to come true. I couldn't truly love her cuz she had no faith, vision, will or determination!! That showed me how independent I could and wanted to be.

The last 4 years I have been "Puttin shoe leather to Dreams"..... and gettin my foot wedged firmly in the door of life!!

4 years, 400plus e-mails, several hundred phone calls, 7 or 8 revisions of my business plan, numerous evaluations, meetings and tons of patience lost, later...... Im about to live out my Dreams!

whew.......nice to meetcha Mr. Bennett

Thanks again,
Bob Hickey
