AXIS Healthcare (http://www.axishealth.com/aboutus/mission.html ) only works with disabled individuals in the five County Metro area of Minneapolis Minnesota.  The program only got started like two or three years ago as a kind of experiment/demo/example and is just beginning to grow more now, but is still not very big.  It is part of a bigger alternative Health care coverage option the State of Minnesota has been doing for people on Medicare/Medicaid, etc. including seniors.  Basically operating and managing it more like a private insurance company with its own Board of Trustees, etc. (http://www.ucare.org/) Hopefully both programs in the future it can be used as an example for other states and on a broader scale.  At this time, AXIS Healthcare is still working out all the details in terms of best ratios of nurse liaisons to clients, etc. at least as of maybe five or six months ago when I talked to Christopher Duff, their President/CEO.
The ziplock bag that the suppositories come in is labeled: "Bisacodyl 10MG Suppositories".  As far as I understand they are the Magic Bullet or the same thing anyway, water-soluble suppositories and they do work much faster and better.  I get them from from Geritom Med Inc. (952-854-1190), the locals pharmacy here that delivers.  Since they deliver, I can imagine they would have no problem shipping product as long as they got a prescription and payment, etc.  When my doctor prescribed them, there was no question about coverage from insurance anyway.  Maybe it's just a matter of finding a doctor that is willing to prescribed them?

They won't compound them here for me because they don't want to get the ingredients if I am the only one that wants them.  I can't get them covered in insurance. Oh, Mark can you tell us more about that program?  cost?  can people sign up for it still?  Thanks in advance.

I get them without a problem from a pharmacy here in Minneapolis.  They are even covered and come with all my other prescriptions each month.  I work with an alternative program to medical assistance called Axishealth Care for individuals with disabilities that was established by the State of Minnesota a few years ago as an experimental program.  They seem much more willing to cover things normal medical assistance would not cover.

Maybe, just maybe if all of us contacted them, they may be willing to adjust their price a little bit.  I think there are quite a bit of people on this list that use that product.  What the hell, I've never used the magic bullet, but I'd be willing to write or call them.  They may change their tune if they think they are going to lose a market as big as us.  We do have the numbers.

LOL, Your hooked on the product and as soon as its available again you'll be
fighting with each other to get your order.  I've seen that happen before with
other products like.... gasoline.  I truly wish that there was another
product that worked as well, except for the emeneze and cost less... alot less.  I
too wish for a better resolve.
