Hi Dan. I have a supra-pubic catheter and float (can't swim except
for moving my arms around in the water on my back) in my pool. I've never
had any problems with it at all.
Also, to answer River's question, I just lay my 32 oz. leg bag across my stomach in my bikini bottom while I am in the pool. Works fine. Actually I wear my leg bag across my stomach in my pants/shorts instead of connected to the extra tube down my leg. That way it's easy to empty and you can't even tell with my quad belly. Works good for me. I was cathed for 6 1/2 years until I had the supra-pubic surgery 4 1/2 years ago. It was the best decision I could have made. Gave me so much more freedom. Plus I never get UTI's like I used to get all the time when I was cathed. Corie
