What Americans are getting for the increase in Medicare Part B:
If you choose to get a Medicare-approved drug discount card, you
might also qualify for up to a $600 credit each calendar year (2004
and 2005) to help pay for prescriptions.

Now most people on SSI are being covered by Medicade which in most
States already have a low co-pay for prescriptions and in some States
even over the counter drugs are covered. Some States also pick up the
medicare part B payments for people on Medicade. If you have questions
contact your local case worker or State Medicade office.

HUD is being restructured in response to changes in Welfare reform.
Again check with your local caseworker to find out if these changes
will effect you, do not panic.
REPEAT DO NOT PANIC
It is an election year and the fear mongers are working overtime.
