You aren't alone. I have pain that is horrible AND seems to be related to my position. I'm tall and as I sit, my back curves. I imagine it's now permanently curved.
I *do* notice that the majority of the "positional pain" is in my lower back and side ... right where the curve is most pronounced and where the bulk of my upper body weight strains the lower vertabrae.
I also have the hyperasthesia and other neurogenic pains. Often, just the breeze blowing the hairs on my arms makes them feel on fire.
Unfortunately, short of a few too many beers, I haven't found anything that really works. Baclofen, valium, neurontin, hydromorphone, ibuprofen, and a beer or two makes it bearable. And how I still manage to function mentally.... that's still a mystery. (lol)
(But I'll bet stuntman may simply suggest I don't....
