Use a small fan, spread your legs or whatever position works best to get to
'the spot', and blow it away!  Put a sheet over you for modesty. Also
everytime you wash or shower, blow dry the area several minutes.
I think powders and diaper rash stuff just gets in the folds and causes more
problems than not. Stay "dry"!   When you start getting up, blow dry a.m.
and p.m.
I never liked  baby powder, corn starch or anything on my son when he was a
baby.  Don't like the smell anyway.  I think he only had diaper rash once or
twice and they cleared within a day or two.
Using a fan, or hair blow dryer set on cool, works wonders.
