I wonder how any one of us would react with very little sleep, if any, being shot in the face and seeing a good friend fellow soldier and other soldiers being killed by booby traps and several by booby trapped bodies. Where is the world outrage when Americans, British and other hostages are routinely beheaded, burned and dragged through the streets. Where is the outrage when Ms. Hassan, who only gave all she had through charitable works to Iraqis was murdered. And what does Islamic law say about killing one such as she? Should there be some correction to this soldier for his conduct? Yes, of course. But what of the NBC reporter that chose to spread this unfortunare incident around the world for muslims to use as a recruitement tape. I hope he can face himself after the media stops patting him on the back. Sorry, I did not want to get into a policitcal argument, but I feel for this soldier. I don't feel sorry for the insurgent who would have killed him but for the fact that he was too wounded to pick up a gun. Joan

This story that came out today about shooting an unarmed terrorist is
exactly why the media needs to stay out of the way and let our military take
care of itself.
Reporting this news to the Iraqi's and Americans only fuel the fire with the
Iraqi's.
This man should be held accountable for his actions but kept out of the
media it does more harm than good in my opinion.

On another note calling this a cowardly act is probably right but coming
from people that are using car bombs and killing innocent bystanders like
women and children especially with no regrets is just insane.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - The U.S. military said Tuesday it is investigating the
videotaped fatal shooting of a wounded man by a U.S. Marine in a mosque in
Fallujah. Iraqis condemned the act as "cowardice" and "something forbidden
in Islam."
