I believe that everyone being evaluated for a chair... for any reason should 
be able to try both for a couple of hours before they decide on rear wheel or 
mid wheel chair.  One's life styles is another option to consider.  Rear 
wheels work well in some areas better than others.  Driving from a Mid-wheel 
chair 
may not be as easy because of the securement that is necessary to hold the 
chair safely.   Most of the Mid-wheels are coming from China with America 
labels 
and instructions being added.  Try and find an owner's manual in another 
language is most difficult.  I've tried both Pride, Bruno and Invacare who 
advised 
me that English manuals are the only ones available.

I thought I'd hate mid-wheel and test drove one for 2 weeks and couldn't

stand my rear wheel drive when my test drive was over so you're right no big

deal at all changing over and in my opinion well worth it. >>
