If you ever need any petitions signed or any email or letter writing campains we’re here. That’s the kind of things that we luv 2 do. Fight the system 2 make it better.

Hi Loren,
I just joined this list and yours is the first EmailI have received. I joined because I an a caregiver to Bill ([EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ) and because you and I have corresponded about the problems in Florida with the medicaid program.
Bill also joined. He is a C6 double amputee who came to live here in Florida from Michigan last December. We have had no end of trouble with Medicaid and the BSCIP here. Most of the time we have had to resort to writing the Governor, State and Federal Representatives and congressmen and women. All of our correspondance has been copied to the press, TV and print, and that has resulted in me finally getting paid for doing his companion care after 11 months.
The hurdle of me getting paid is behind us now hopefully and we are ready and willing to try to influence the Governor to change the system by which all this works. C'mon Floridians, lets make some changes!
