Interesting outlook Lori. I knew immediately you were talking about the pandemic of 1918-19. It killed more than the war did. Did anyone see the interesting comment made by a religious leader in India on BBC? He said, in words to the effect, it is difficult to explain the presence of a benevolence deity when such seemingly malevolent events are wrought against innocent victims.
