First let me agree with you again and thank you for having the patience to recite and argue the facts. Funny thing is Washington is full of trial lawyers, with several exceptions: Bill Frist (MD), Tom DeLay (exterminator uh...insects that is), and King Bush himself who failed the entrance exam into law school. I find it ironic that there is so much hullaballoo about trial lawyers.
If trial lawyers are making such a windfall from these lawsuits, it seems to me that they would be looking out for their own interests. However, they aren't making the windfall that Bush insists they are, the corporations and insurance companies are the ones who have such a vested interest in this type of legislation passing.
