Jim I wear condom caths too and change mine almost every day to ensure no problems the most important thing is no kinks for me, I very seldom have any problems and after changing it a few times it's very quick to do after all it's just a condom how complicated can it be.
Now if you sweat a lot you'll have problems and I'll sweat if I'm ill or somethings wrong but besides that it's the best move I've made so far because those indwelling are a nightmare to deal with and kept me supplied with UTI's for 2 years no way I'd go back.

I also wear a condom catheter and have way over 50% success. I have my catheter changed every 36 hours or when needed. I am so diligent on telling my PCA is to make sure that my catheter is untwisted and that the tubing is run straight as possible. I also make sure that when I urinate while in my wheelchair that I am kept all the way forward to make sure everything flows downhill and I also where two 1000 CC leg bags.
