I have a ceiling lift and at first it seemed to work fine. But for a long time
now it doesn't seem to life me correctly. The hands don't grab my rib area, it
slides up under my arm pits. So my butt hangs down and lots of weight is on my
arm pits. I've tried adjusting the thigh pads up/down, slide them into the
crotch area as far as I can. But the thigh pads just slide down to the back of
my knees. I'm trying to use it to get me from bed to chair.

I sit the head of my bed up, lean forward and put a pillow behind my back, then
fit the lift on. As the lift goes up, the thigh pads just slide down. I've
tried putting sticky stuff on them, so they don't slide. I've tried adjusting
them to every hight.

It just doesn't squeeze me soon enough.

Any other ideas? I thought of crossing the thigh pads, putting the right one
across to the left leg.
