I had a chance to actually hold an Oscar last June and take it home for the night. Man, that Oscar weighed about 15 pounds and is scribed with the winner, date, serial number and the reason for the Oscar. This one was due for reconditioning as it was over 20 years old. Winners have to return their Oscars to the committee who sends them to Chicago were they are cleaned, refinished, polished and returned to its rightful owner. Stuntpeople is Hollywood's best kept secret. They want people to believe that the actors actually did the stunt. Same applies to naked body show with doubles that rarely get any credit. Where ya at Stuntman ? W

I think the Academy doesn't want to admit just how much work they put into the making of a movie! >>
