MiCASSA is introduced in the House! Representatives Davis (D IL) and Shimkus (R IL) have done it again! HR 910 is the bill number.
Now we need to thank these two champions of disability rights, and get our Representatives on board, or back on board, as co-sponsors.
Next week we expect Money Follows the Person will be introduced as well! Senators Harkin (D-IA) and Smith (R-OR) This bill too will need co-sponsors, as will the Senate version of MiCASSA (S 401).
This good news is due to the hard work from folks all over the country and together we will make a better tomorrow for people with disabilities! Keep up your good work.
