It has something to do with the spam filtering software different ISPs are using. AOL keeps adding eskimo.com to it's block list, so mail sent from eskimo.com to aol.com gets rejected and after 4 attempts to deliver mail the address is removed. The same thing was happening with bellsouth.net addresses and a few others.

Something strange is going on.  After over a decade on the Quad-List without
a single problem using the same computer and server, I've been bounced about
8-10 times from the quad-list.
Me personally, I can handle the rejection, but wonder how many others are
being bounced without their knowledge.   I'm still looking for Mr. Boyd as he
hasn't posted since the Election between the Reds and Blues and I hope that he
hasn't been bounced and didn't realize it.
What gives?  I can see once or twice, but 8-10 times is a bit, eh?
