Waiting for the lift to lower in the winter is not only time-consuming and inconvenient but can be hazardous and dangerous to our health. My remote control that I have for the Braun lift is also a joke because you have to hold the buttons down for each operation of the lift. I don't have a problem holding the button down to open the doors but I guess to be obtained in the butt especially in cold weather to hold each button down for unfolding and lowering the lift itself. I'll issue is my toggle switches that are located on my rear light because I do not want to wear the batteries out on my remote control.
Jim >> I may have suggested that you use Aircraft Quality Red Juice in your lift with Braun's approval first. Relays vs Micro processors. You be the judge. Relays are safer, but require that you hold the button to activate the relays. In case of an emergency, you can stop the action by merely removing your finger from the button. Microprocessors, are easier to operate, but lack the discipline to stop. Hit one button that the program door opens and releases the lift ramp to the ground, all in one operation. Hit another button and the reverse happens. Its all automatic. No holding buttons. UNTIL, you have a problem and the lift and door continue to operate... because they have been programed to operate that way. Efficient, but could be dangerous without safe guards. You be the judge as Braun has both available to the consumer. Relays or Microprocessors? W
