I haven't seen the movie but know what happens and I'm sure it's a good movie but in my opinion it totally contradicts the main character as a fighter because when things really got tough she threw in the gloves and decided suicide was the answer.
This was supposed to be a fighter but sci was and is the tough battle the story should've started there
I'm rambling,
Mark

i have cocktails on Wednesdays with a nurse who saw million dollar baby and liked it. we had some words tonight after a few cocktails about snuffing spinal injuries. i told her Chris reeve should have been snuffed as well as all of the others at the spinal cord rehab place in town. and while we were at it, might as well off the mexicans, chinks, spicks, and gooks. after all what right did they have in OUR world? she said she didn't see me as crippled (I'm a C3 incomplete in a wheelchair for 37 years) this is an RN that i love dearly but seems to be living in a vacuum as far as i can tell. anyway, my son and i spanked her good for her simplistic superficial look at life and she left crying. what bastards we are. i know you will understand. dave
