I am not in anyway trying to minimize everyone's enthusiasm about making
sure the guilty are punished, but lets be as kind as possible to the
unfortunate girl in this case. Too much media attention may not be the best
thing for her. Living and reliving those memories can have a toll. I don't know
if it's even possible to ask that the victim be respected by a media that hasn't
shown much self respect recently.
