Subject: [QUAD-L] Providers (including Earthlink)

Ever heard of you get what you pay for?  :-)   Sure there are differences in providers.  The BIG difference for our needs is high-speed cable internet.  We download a lot of programs, etc and we'd be till Christmas downloading two things with dial-up.

We haven't had slow slow slow dial-up in 7 years.  It's the difference between night & day.  We'll never go back cuz of our net usage.  We pay Comcast $39.00/month but, for us, it's worth every penny.

BTW Earthlink users ... 4 yrs ago we signed up for broadband net service with Earthlink as the ISP.  BECAUSE of our heavy downloading ... it took my husband little time to see that Earthlink caps the speed to 56K.  Slick but we saw it.  Dropped hat crap and back to cable.

Lori, I guess it suits my needs---for now anyhow  lol       But the Question I was asking is........ARE THERE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN PROVIDERS SERVICES ??  I pay $24 a month are cheap providers just as good ???   I'm very confused on this issue.
                                                                                                     Thanks,  Dan
