I did mine in Craig Hospital in Denver, Colorado.  It is a great hospital but they sometime look at their little formulas and forget you are dealing with humans and we all a little different.  Other then that the PT and OT were great.  The doctors were great too.  The teacher was a jerk but he was not real happy being there so he did the minimal job possible.  Overall it was good better after years of reflection and going back for revaluation.

Subject: [QUAD-L] Where do/did you go through rehab?

My experience at Dallas Rehabilitation Institute (DRI) was very militaristic in their approach to rehab.  Looking back at my 6 month stay from September of '88 to March of '89 I'm really pleased with how they handled everything.  We were forced to go to OT and PT and did  not have the option to 'opt out' like I've seen at other facilities.  Their activities director was very good about getting us out to experience the world a bit more. (even though I felt I was on show that early in the game)  Overall, good as it could be experience.

DRI no longer exists today, it  was replaced by HEALTHSOUTH who in turn has turned all rehab over to Baylor, I think.

Curious to hear/read others experiences...
