What is it that you would like to know? I guess I missed your initial post. I don’t read all the post. Some subjects catch my attention I skim through them some don’t I delete. :) I’ll share with you what I can. Let me know what it is you need to know about personal services.
I have a home health care agency paid for by Medicaid that is here everyday at 8:00am – 10:00am than they send a housekeeper out 5 days a week paid for by a waiver. This person helps with errands, housekeeping, laundry, things of that nature. Provided by the same agency. Than I have a can that comes out in the evening at 9:00pm – 10:00pm to help me with dinner if I haven’t eaten and to get to bed.
When I got out of the nursing home I had a aid through a home health care agency 7 days a week for 2 yrs. The same aid morning and evening with no problems. She left the agency and started her own agency. I stayed on with original agency. I had several can’s afterwards. 1 stole money from me agency said I couldn't prove it. So I demanded that they give me another aid she could not come back in my home. Than I had some jewelry come up missing. I switched agencies to my original aids agency. I’ve had no problems but I guess it doesn’t hurt to know the owners home phone # and to be considered family. :)
