Just thought I would throw my 2cents in, I am no expert but do have some experience with bad leg spasms and cramping. I was told a few years ago to add Niacin ( B-3 ) to my diet it has helped. Recently a friend who works at the rehab here said that some people swear by
drinking "electrolyte water"  I was given a web page to check it out.  If I am not mistake it is similar to pedialyte.
