Good morning,
I have Humana Gold plus and they only pay
for my nurse to come out as many times as I need her to check on my decubitus
sores. The State of Illinois, the Department of Human Services pays for my
PCA services.
However, when I had Blue Cross, I had a
better choice of doctors and hospitals.

Home Health Care Hi Tom, I have never heard of HMOs providing care. I have been on several. What company HMO do you have? just wondering. It's great that they do have at least one that does provide personal care. I just stay with Blue Cross because of the same doctors. I hate changing doctors. I would lose my coverage, as it would become secondary I believe , when my stepmom retires . I totally dread this which is not far off. Dana (C4-5, 30 years post, 51, KC)
